After you contact us about doing work on your boat, we will discuss your needs and ideas to come up with a scope of work. This conversation may be with one or more of our service and project managers, depending on the disciplines involved.
2
Estimate
Once a work scope has been defined, we will either provide you with standard rates from our rate sheet, or create an estimate for the scope of work. This may be an estimate or a fixed quote, depending on the nature of the work. While we do our best to create accurate estimates, work scope and job cost can change during the project due to customer requests, conditions found and other variables. La Conner Maritime Service reserves the right to modify or adjust pricing within the terms of the agreement.
3
Scheduling
After the estimate is agreed upon and a deposit secured, we will schedule the work. Scheduling will be based on many factors including availability of personnel, materials and other resources.
4
Work Performed & Final Invoicing
While the work is ongoing, and depending on the scope of the work, we may reach out to you with updates, questions and requests for progress payments. Final payment is expected before the boat is launched or leaves our facility.
